What is Botox®?
Botox® treatment is an injection-based treatment that relaxes the facial muscles and helps to alleviate and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, crow’s feet and laughter lines around the mouth. Botox® treatments are available from our clinic and are administered by trained and qualified medical professionals. Our Botox® Nottingham Nurses will happily assist you with any questions you may have.
We match your treatment to your needs and spend time talking to you before we plan your treatment schedule. The options will be explained to you and you will be able to express your preference. FROWN LINES BOTOX®
Frown lines are the vertical lines which sit between the eyebrows. More noticeable when people frown, they’re also evident in people who have had a lot of sun exposure. Frown lines are treated with Botox® injections both in between and along the brow line.
FOREHEAD WRINKLES BOTOX®
Forehead wrinkles are the horizontal lines that run across the forehead and are more obvious when you raise your eyebrows. To treat forehead wrinkles, smoothing out their appearance, we will use small Botox® injections in the forehead area.
CROW’S FEET BOTOX®
Although Crow’s feet are created by laughing and smiling, living with them isn’t much fun. They run out from the outer corner of the eye area and are most obvious when laughing or smiling. Like crinkles in the skin, they happen as the skin ages, loosing its elasticity. Crow’s feet are also the result increased sun exposure. To improve the appearance of crow’s feet, we treat the outer side of the eye area with small injections.
SMOKER’S LINES BOTOX®
Known as smoker’s lines, these can appear in both smokers and non-smokers. Sitting around the mouth, above the top lip, they can be reduced and improved by small Botox® injections to the area above the top lip.
MARIONETTE LINES BOTOX®
Marionette lines are a naturally occurring ‘droop’ that appears around the corners of the mouth. Attributable to the ageing process, marionette lip lines can be improved with Botox® injections to the areas around the corners of the mouth.
BUNNY LINES BOTOX®
Cutely named, bunny lines are just as hard to live with as other facial lines. Small wrinkles at the top of the nose which appear as a result of squinting or frowning, bunny lines can be greatly reduced with Botox® injections to the area around the top of the nose.
BROW LIFT WITH BOTOX®
Botox® is a powerful treatment that can be used to improve the overall facial appearance. Targeted Botox® injections around the brow area can raise the eyebrows by around 3mm. This Botox® treatment is also known as a ‘Chemical Brow Lift’ and can create a younger looking visage by opening the eye areas up.
